• Why buy Wire

    Since starting knitting wire I have only purchased one reel of wire and I’ve been using it from 1994. My wire is recycled which I reprocess myself from thrown away electrical goods. The armatures wire which is found in motors, transformers and screen accelerators. You can see some of them in the images above, the piece in the fore-ground is a TV screen accelerator.

    As you can see the wire comes several colours and various different thicknesses. I also use plastic coated cable from computer net work suits.

  • Having a very interesting time at Taurus Crafts over a week ago, when demonstrating and the start of our exhibition which will last for over a month. I will be back for meet the artist on 29th July so hope to see you then.   • I will be demonstating and exhibiting work with my wife Melissa Warren, who is do a workshop on yarn wrap pictures, at Taurus Crafts in the Forest of Dean on 23rd & 24th of June. We will be camping so are hoping for fine weather. Our work will also be on exhibition for month from this week end.
